Come harvest fruit trees this season in Boulder and you'll help reduce food waste, feed people in need, and protect local black bears!

Milk and Honey Farm
Mondays and Thursdays 8-11am, May-October
Dig, weed, plant, and harvest the tzedakah (donation) garden, educational garden beds, and geodesic dome greenhouse! The produce grown is donated or used in educational programs, with each year donating over 4,000 pounds of produce to Boulder county community members experiencing food insecurity.

Jack’s Solar Garden, founded in 2020, is a 1.2 MW community solar garden with solar panels covering just over 4 acres of land. Tasks could include seeding, weeding or mulching - it will depend on the day, weather and seasonal needs.

Voluntering with OSMP is a great way for individuals, groups, schools, and corporations to learn about Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) through field-based service-learning. Volunteers work directly with OSMP staff and learn specific land management methodologies. Projects can include native shrub planting and native seed collection.
