What: Join the JCC for a unique and meaningful Tu B'shevat Seder as they explore the theme of Cultivating Abundance through the interconnected lenses of Body and Earth.
Tu B'Shevat is one of the four "New Years" in the Jewish Calendar. Literally the 15th of the Hebrew month Shevat, it celebrates the New Year of the Trees. We mark this holiday with a seder, literally "order," a festive experience where we celebrate tree fruits and share together in enjoying their offerings.
This four-part Seder will guide us through:
🌳 Roots: Honoring our ancestors and the unseen networks that sustain us.
🌳 Trunk: Finding balance and alignment within ourselves.
🌳 Branches: Strengthening our connections to community support.
🌳 Fruit: Sharing the gifts we cultivate with intention and purpose.
Through song, text-study, embodied practices, and meaningful conversation, we’ll celebrate the abundance already present in our lives and plant seeds for a future where we live and give from a place of abundance.
Whether you are new to Tu Bishvat or have celebrated it for years, this gathering offers a meaningful and inclusive space to connect with your body, spirit, and the Jewish value of caring for the Earth.
