What: Join Community Fruit RescueBenevolence Orchard, and Widespread Malus for their upcoming Fruit Tree Care Workshop which will focus on pruning practices for young fruit trees!

Learn the art and science of pruning young fruit trees! The first hour will delve into foundational principles and techniques during a classroom session at the Benevolence Orchard barn. Led by experienced instructors, this component explores the best practices for fostering strong branching structures before trees leaf out (late January through February). The second hour unfolds outdoors in the orchard, offering hands-on pruning demonstrations amidst the beauty of Benevolence Orchard. Equip yourself with the knowledge and skills needed to ensure healthy, resilient trees and a thriving harvest.

    • Cost is $20 per person. Financial assistance available in limited quantities; contact info@fruitrescue.org if you are in need of financial support prior to the workshop.
