Wildlands Restoration Volunteers: Forests - Cal-Wood Fire Restoration
What: Assist the recovery effort from one of Colorado's largest wildfires! 2020 saw many of the most extensive fires in Colorado history. WRV has been helping treat the most important areas in impacted watersheds to prevent future catastrophes.
Work will focus on erosion control measures and reestablishment of vegetation on impacted slopes using native seed mixes. Flooding is a near guarantee after extensive wildfires. Come help mitigate the lasting impacts of these fires and heal the land!
