Harlequin's Gardens: May 20th Walkabout, with Gary Meis
What: This walkabout will cover an introduction to the benefits of edible, useful and medicinal plants that we grow at Harlequin’s Gardens. We’ll stroll the grounds in an interactive walk-and-talk. This talk revolves around seasonal availability and includes how we grow these specific plants. You’ll take a look inside our greenhouse growing operation.

Gary Meis was the head propagator for Country Lane Wholesale Nursery for 20 years. He has a special interest and is very knowledgeable about edible and medicinal native plants. He is the primary propagator at our wholesale growing operation that supplies pesticide-free plants to Harlequin’s, local landscapers, cities, Denver Botanic Gardens, and the Butterfly Pavilion.
