Wildlands Restoration Volunteers: Families - Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge
What: Help control invasive plants with the whole family! Bring the whole family out to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge to spend the morning learning about and removing invasive plants and enjoying the unique plants and wildlife at the refuge. This will be an easy activity that provide ample opportunity to explore a place at your own pace. This project will be followed by lunch and a free fishing activity. The Refuge is easily accessible, located just outside of Denver, and is home to species including bison and black-footed ferrets.
