Resource Central Webinar: Garden Prep From a Permaculture Perspective

What: Permaculture is a design science that uses nature as a model for building resilient human systems. In this online class, you will learn how we can use natural ecosystems as a guide to help us prepare our gardens effectively for vegetables, perennials, trees, and shrubs–including techniques for building soil fertility, which soil amendments to add, how to add them, and which mulches to choose. You will come away with a good understanding of several different techniques you can use depending on your goals and context. Speaker: Amy Scanes-Wolfe, Drylands Agroecology Research
