The City of Boulder and Cool Boulder are excited to host the 10th Annual Pollinator Appreciation Month. You can raise awareness about the importance of pollinators by joining us for a Children's Pollinator Parade on September 5th. Children and adults are encouraged to dress up as pollinators.
We will begin meeting at 3:30 p.m. on at the west side of Penfield Tate Municipal Building, 1777 Broadway, Boulder. There is a bus stop on the east side of the Penfield Tate Building.
Parking is available at the library parking lots at the Canyon Blvd entrance just west of the Penfield Tate Building, or at the Arapahoe entrance in front of the main/south entrance of the library. The first 90 minutes for parking are free if you register at the kiosk.
The ¾-mile parade will start at 4 p.m. - all participants should plan to meet between 3:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. so that we can organize, and we will travel north on the sidewalk up 11th Street and turn east on the Pearl Street Mall and meet at the Boulder County Courthouse at 1300 Pearl, where we’ll stop for refreshments and celebration on the Courthouse Lawn. Look for the Cool Boulder tent!
