BeeChicas: Watercolor Bumblebees Workshop

What: Meet our incredible native bees and explore watercolor painting bumblebees with the BeeChicas! Boulder County has over 500 species of native bees. Meet in the native plant garden at the Boulder library to observe native bees and learn about our charismatic bumblebees. Have some fun with watercolor painting to paint one of the 23 bumble bee species that live in our Front Range and take home a mini paint tin that doubles as a frame. 

  • Details:

    • Open to all ages; adult helper required for children 12 and under.

    • Registration recommended to reserve workshop supplies and to receive an email reminder.

  • When: Wednesday, August 21, 2024; 4pm-5:30pm.
