  • What: On the Front Range it can be challenging to keep your veggie gardens from drying out through the hot summer months, especially in your raised beds where there can be more exposure to sun and wind. Jess will share several simple, yet effective, ways to keep your veggies growing happily without wasting water!

    • Jess Harper is a food systems activist, working the past several years leading various urban farm initiatives. Jess has taught hundreds of community members how to grow their own food, ad has experience with small-scale farming, community and home growing, and aquaponics.
