Harlequin's Gardens: Our Native Pollinators - Who They Are & How To Support Them, with Andrea Montoya (Part 2)
What: How you prepare your garden habitat early in the year will set you up to support more insects this year and in years to come. This presentation will focus on our local insect pollinators with an emphasis on our Native Bee population. Andrea will discuss the basics of who they are and then emphasize where the Native Bees live and what they need to survive. In addition, learn how to support them so they may increase their numbers. She will give you the basics for Native Bee ID as well as the correct way to leave stems in place as well as providing for the ground nesters and what the bees need across the various seasons. (You don’t need to have attended part 1)
