Community Fruit Rescue's Harvest Celebration

  • BOCO Cider Boulder, CO (map)
  • What: Help Community Fruit Rescue celebrate their successes and the people who made this harvest season possible during their 10th Anniversary year: CFR’s tree stewards, harvest leader volunteers, volunteer pickers, fruit recipient sites, partners, and more. They’ll also say goodbye to their dear friends at BOCO Cider, as they will be permanently closing later in November!

    • Here’s what they have planned:

Delicious food and beverages: Sample BOCO Cider’s delicious libations and pair those with some light appetizer foods

Cider pressing: Take a turn grinding rescued fruit from Boulder’s backyards and pressing it into delicious apple cider

Fun for all ages: Bring your family and participate in a variety of apple-themed games and other activities

Rescued Fruit Store: They’ll have their favorite homemade fruit preserves available for a suggested donation. They make great holiday gifts!

Listen and learn: They’ll share an update on their 2024 season, introduce some of the folks who made everything possible, and loop you into their plans for the future
