Wildlands Restoration Volunteers: Families - Lafayette (bilingual event)
What: Plant native plants at Coal Creek! Join us along the Coal Creek Trail in the City of Lafayette. This area is a valuable riparian and recreation area that runs for nearly 30 miles throughout Lafayette and the surrounding communities. We will be closing social trails for restoration, removing invasive species and then planting native shrubs in their place. This project continues our partnership with Nature Kids/Jovenes de la Naturaleza and the City of Lafayette and is open to Crew Leaders and volunteers who are interested in helping families and youth connect to nature!
This project will be run in both English and Spanish. English speakers are welcome to attend and if you speak Spanish, this is a great opportunity to practice!

Qué: ¡Plantar plantas nativas en Coal Creek! Únete a nosotros en el sendero de Coal Creek en la ciudad de Lafayette. Esta área es una área ribereña y recreativa valiosa que camina por casi 30 millas dentro de Lafayette y las comunidades circundantes.
