Wildlands Restoration Volunteers: Trails - Red Feather Lakes (camping involved)

  • What: Construct a reroute to reconnect the Elkhorn Trailhead! The Elkhorn Trailhead has lost connection with the rest of the Molly Lake/Lady Moon trail system. We're rebuilding the Elkhorn trail to the West and now a reroute to the North around a section flooded by beaver activity and another degraded road bed to reconnect this otherwise interconnected trail system.

    • Volunteers will camp near the trailhead and construct raised tread, a small bridge and a new section of trail around a meadow.

    • Click here to register! (Strenuous - minimum volunteer age 16, with an adult)

  • When: 9:00 a.m., Saturday, June 24th - 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 25th

  • Where: Red Feather Lakes, Larimer County, 80545 CO
