Wildlands Restoration Volunteers: Families - Lafayette (bilingual event)
What: Plant native plants at Coal Creek! Join us along the Coal Creek Trail in the City of Lafayette. This area is a valuable riparian and recreation area that runs for nearly 30 miles throughout Lafayette and the surrounding communities. We will be closing social trails for restoration, removing invasive species and then planting native shrubs in their place. This project continues our partnership with Nature Kids/Jovenes de la Naturaleza and the City of Lafayette and is open to Crew Leaders who are interested in helping families and youth connect to nature!
This project will be primarily in Spanish but is open to English-speaking volunteers who are interested in practicing their Spanish, or who want to participate in a bilingual event.
Click here to register! (Easier - minimum volunteer age 5, with an adult)
