Water Harvester Workday and Lunch

What: Take action for absorbent landscapes! Join a water harvester group to make a rock rundown structure at the bottom of a property using rocks from the abundant rocky terrain. 

This structure will prevent runoff erosion and allow water to infiltrate into the soil slowly. will look upslope at the log and rock dams and wattle structures that have been constructed and talk about how water is being encouraged to hydrate the soil, preventing erosion and contributing to ecological resiliency.

    • Please RSVP so that enough lunch will be available. It will be vegan and gf.

    • What to bring: Sunhat/ sunscreen, layers, gloves, hiking boots or sturdy closed toe shoes, water bottle, plate or bowl and utensils. 

  • When: Saturday, June 8, 2024; 8:30am-12:30pm.

Where: Property off Hwy 36 north of Boulder.
