Boulder Audubon Teen Naturalists: Winter Duck Extravaganza

  • Prospect Park 11600 West 44th Avenue Wheat Ridge, CO, 80033 United States (map)

What: Steve Jones will lead a trip to observe and photograph wild ducks and other water birds. Thanks to the generous releases of warm suds from the Coors Brewing factory, Clear Creek below Golden does not freeze over in winter, and hooded mergansers, goldeneyes, shovelers, and other wild ducks gather close to the public trail, allowing for incredible viewing. International wildlife photographer John Weller will join us to offer pro tips on photography.
