Harlequin's Gardens: June 17th Walkabout, with Gary Meis

  • What: This walkabout will cover an introduction to the benefits of edible, useful and medicinal plants that we grow at Harlequin’s Gardens, as we stroll the grounds in a interactive walk-and-talk. This talk revolves around seasonal availability and will include how we grow these specific plants and a look inside our greenhouse growing operation.

      • Please dress appropriately for weather conditions. Subject to appropriate conditions to walk around – registrants will be notified if cancellation is needed.

    • Gary Meis was the head propagator for Country Lane Wholesale Nursery for 20 years. He has a special interest and is very knowledgeable about edible and medicinal native plants. He is the primary propagator at our wholesale growing operation that supplies pesticide-free plants to Harlequin’s, local landscapers, cities, Denver Botanic Gardens, and the Butterfly Pavilion.
