Community Fruit Rescue: 2023 Harvest Celebration

  • What: You're invited to Community Fruit Rescue's 2023 Harvest Celebration! Embrace the spirit of the season with Community Fruit Rescue as we gather to celebrate a bountiful harvest and prepare for an even more fruitful year ahead! Help Community Fruit Rescue celebrate our successes and the people who made this harvest season possible: CFR’s tree stewards, harvest leader volunteers, volunteer pickers, fruit recipient sites, our partners, and more!

    • Register in advance at your preferred level to support our small nonprofit organization and help us grow! (Ranging from FREE or at a donation level that suits you)

  • What to Expect:

    • Delicious food and beverages: Sample BOCO Cider’s delicious libations (including this year’s “Boulder Bushel” hard cider with fruit from CFR harvests!) and pair those with some light appetizer foods.

    • Cider pressing: Take a turn grinding rescued fruit from Boulder’s backyards and pressing it into delicious apple cider.

    • Fun for all ages: Bring your family and participate in a variety of apple-themed games and other activities.

      • People of all ages are welcome at this event. While we absolutely adore our furry friends, we kindly request that you leave your dogs (service animals excluded) at home for this event.

    • Rescued Fruit Store: We'll have our favorite homemade fruit preserves available for a suggested donation. They make great holiday gifts!

    • Listen and learn: We’ll share an update on our 2023 season, introduce some of the folks who made everything possible, and loop you into our plans for the future.

  • When: Sunday, November 12th; 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

  • Where: BOCO Cider; 1501 Lee Hill Drive, Unit #14, Boulder, CO, 80304
